Lucky Wander Boy is a new novel about a man who’s obsessed with finding a lost video game. Author D.B. Weiss talks to GameZone about his intriguing novel of video game addiction.

Lucky Wander Boy is described as a “novel of video game addiction, Hollywood serfdom, ill-fated romance and extremely misguided notions about Japan." It's about a man, Adam Pennyman, who is obsessed with completing an encyclopedic analysis of every video game ever made. Called "The Catalogue of Obsolete Entertainment," Adam runs into trouble when he can't track down Lucky Wander Boy, an epic video game from the past. It once had a huge cult following, but for some reason or other, it can't be found anywhere.
The situation changes when Adam begins working at a second-rate Hollywood production company. That company just happens to own the film rights to Lucky Wander Boy. As Adam's dream of obtaining an existing Lucky Wander Boy console appears to be coming true, he is certain that it will reveal all of the secrets to everything that is missing from his life.
